Your personal online Account Dashboard will direct you to completing everything necessary: Medical Forms, Terms and Conditions Agreement, and Rentals. These items must be completed by April 1* to maintain an active registration.
For student sessions ONLY: Once you have reserved your child’s flights please make sure to enter them in on your child’s online account so we can make sure to know when they will arrive and depart from the airport. Please reference the Preparation Packet or Travel Details below for more information.

We are so excited to host your student this summer for a Student Program! This page exists to coordinate travel and/or connect with other families in your area that have students attending. While this page is guest-facilitated, our staff will be monitoring it.
Most guests fly into one of the following airports and rent a car to drive the rest of the way to JH Ranch. Guests typically share that flying Southwest or Delta are the best options for them.

Redding, CA (RDD): 2.5 hours
Sacramento, CA (SMF): 4.3 hours
San Francisco, CA (SFO): 6.15 hours
Arrival & Departure Information
Your travel days are the first and last days listed on your program dates.
For example, if your program is from June 3 – June 10, then you will book your plans to arrive at JH Ranch on the evening of June 3 and to depart JH Ranch on the morning of June 10.
Your Arrival: Check-in will be between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM on your arrival night. Please note that dinner will NOT be served at the Ranch on arrival night, so be sure to eat before you arrive. We suggest grabbing a bite to eat in Yreka or Fort Jones. We will have light hors d’oeuvres.Â
Your Departure: Your final evening will be a closing banquet that concludes by 11:00 PM. Guests are free to depart for home anytime after this banquet. A continental breakfast will be available the following morning (the last listed day of your program). (For example, if your program date ends on Saturday, the closing banquet is Friday night and Saturday is your travel day.)
Arriving Late?
Not a problem. Just give us a call at 800.242.1224 and let us know about the delay in your travel plans.Â
When you arrive, you will drive up Lodge Hill where a staff member will be on-duty throughout the night to welcome you and take you to your cabin.
Transportation will be provided by JH Ranch to and from Rogue Valley International Medford Airport (MFR).
Your travel days are the first and last days listed on your program dates.

A sequence of shuttles will run at 2pm (PT) from the Medford airport to JH Ranch. Check-in will begin at 4pm on your arrival night. Note that dinner will be served at the Ranch on arrival night at 6pm. Please make plans to arrive to the Ranch from 4pm-6pm PST.
Your Departure: Your final evening will be a closing banquet that concludes by 11:00 PM. The following morning a sequence of shuttles will run from JH Ranch to the Medford Airport.

Rental Car Discount Codes Available for JH Ranch Guests
JH Ranch guests have access to a fixed discounted rental car rate through Avis and Budget. Because rental car pricing fluctuates based on season, location, and demand, this fixed rate can offer meaningful value. Depending on market conditions, guests may save up to 55% compared to standard rental rates.
How to book using the discount

Budget: Enter code B074590 in the BCD field under the Offer Code dropdown
Eligible vehicle classes
Rates vary by vehicle class and are only available for the following options:
Compact, Intermediate, Full Size, Premium, Luxury, Minivan, Sport Utility, Intermediate SUV, Standard Elite SUV, Full Size SUV, Premium SUV, Passenger Van
Higher-level vehicle classes will cost more, even with the discounted rate. For the lowest possible price, we recommend selecting a Compact vehicle when available.

Additional notes
Discounted rates are only available to JH Ranch guests for the duration of their program dates. Use outside of these dates is not permitted and can lead to consequences from the rental companies.
Savings of up to 55% are possible but not guaranteed, as pricing depends on market conditions at the time of booking.
When possible, booking off-airport can lead to significant savings from associated airport fees.
